Positive Mid-Term Review in Barcelona: Unite!Energy on Track
The mid-term meeting in Barcelona provided insights into the current status of the Unite!Energy project, highlighting progress across research, training and communication activities.
On the 6th of June 2025, the Unite!Energy consortium gathered at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC, in Barcelona, for its Mid-Term Review with the European Research Executive Agency (REA). The meeting confirmed that the project is progressing according to plan, with all twelve doctoral candidates now recruited and active across the network.

Despite some initial recruitment delays due to visa issues, the communication, training and research activities are advancing well, and major deliverables such as the website, data management plan and communication strategy have been delivered.

Doctoral candidates presented their research progress, motivations and future plans, while REA, represented by the Project Officer, highlighted the importance of completing enrolments in joint PhD programmes, finalising Career Development Plans and reinforcing outreach activities, particularly through social media.
